About our camp session.
June 19 - 23, 2017
HOW IT WORKS!
Participants will initially be seperated into groups according to age. During the first session councillors will evaluate each individual player's skill set and determine the appropriate group for the remainder of the week.
Often younger players with advanced skills will find it more rewarding and informative to play with older players.
The Academy Staff enjoys having a little fun on the final day. The "parade of countries" allows campers to showcase their favorite international teams/countries. The Academy asks that each participant wear the jersey, or colors of their favorite team/country and make a flag/banner to carry and wave during the parade (be creative!)
Facepainting will be provided by the counselors.
The campers will also receive a special treat from the Academy thanking each of them for participating in the Academy camp session.
The Parade will take place at 11:00 am on the final day. Parents are welcome to attend!
**North Beach is available to BSA at no cost during the week of the camp session and weather permitting the counselors will take the full day group to the beach during lunch break. Campers are asked to bring towels and bathing suits if they would like to participate. Those that do not wish to will stay at the Athletic Complex. Both groups will be under the supervision of our full day staff.
**In the event of heavy rain or thunder the BSA camp session will be moved to the high school gymnasium.
